Security Policy for Client Portal Access

Seal Collision Consulting (“SCC”) takes the security of your case information seriously and uses multiple safeguards to protect access to case information and files.

To access your case portal, you must enter your case number and an authorized email address. You will then be required to verify your access using a one-time code sent to that email address. Login codes expire after a limited period, can only be successfully used once, and are subject to additional protections against repeated unsuccessful attempts.

After successful verification, SCC creates a time-limited portal session that allows access to your authorized case resources. The system may also recognize a previously verified device for a limited period to make subsequent access more convenient.

Case files are stored using secure cloud services, including Google Drive and, when needed, Microsoft OneDrive. SCC relies on the security protections provided by these services, including encryption in transit and at rest. SCC only presents access to case files through the client portal after successful authentication.

In some cases, controlled file-access links may be used. These links may be time-limited and automatically refreshed or replaced as needed to maintain continued authorized access.

SCC maintains records of important security and system activity, which may include login attempts, successful authentication, portal access, file uploads or related file activity, notifications, and certain administrative actions. These records are used to help protect the system, investigate access issues, and troubleshoot technical problems.

Access to a case may be revoked at any time. When a case is closed, client access is revoked and case files are archived. For Google-based case files, SCC creates and verifies an archive ZIP as part of the closeout process. OneDrive-based case files are moved to the appropriate archive location without compression.
